But before you make your first Bitcoin purchase using Google Pay, here are a few other things to keep in mind about the service:
- Google Pay does not charge additional fees if you choose debit or pay with a current balance.
- While Google Pay is available on CEX.IO, it may not be available on other crypto exchanges.
- Google Pay offers a transaction minimum of $1, a 7-day weekly maximum of $20,000, and a total balance limit of $25,000. Additionally, you can add a minimum of $10 USD to your Google Pay balance.
- For deposits, Google Pay allows you to deposit up to $20,000 a week to a debit card or bank account.

- From the home screen of the CEX.IO mobile app, select Bitcoin as the cryptocurrency you want to buy, and select the fiat currency for which it will be exchanged.

Does Google Pay charge fees?
Google Pay stores your debit/credit card and/or bank account routing information for you on your device, but does not charge any additional fees beyond those incurred by your payment provider. For example, if your credit card charges a small fee for transactions over a certain amount, or from across a certain distance, those fees could affect any transactions you make with Google Pay. However, any transactions made with Google Pay that are connected to a debit card should not result in additional fees.

How does withdrawal work with Google Pay?
While Google Pay can be used to buy crypto in the CEX.IO App and Wallet page, transactions do not work the other way around. Thankfully, withdrawal capabilities are built into CEX.IO ecosystem to work with a credit or debit card.
To withdraw money using the CEX.IO App, follow these steps below:
- On the home screen, click Wallet in the center of the menu.
- Select the currency you want to withdraw.
- Click on the Send button.
- From here, enter the amount you want to withdraw. Double-check the total amount to see how much will be transferred after deducting the commission.
- Choose the card you want to withdraw your funds to, or swipe left and Add a new card.
- Click the box to accept the Terms of Use, Refund Policy, Payment Conditions, and Cardholder’s Agreement.
- When you’re satisfied with the transaction, confirm the withdrawal by tapping Send.
Withdrawal requires selling a digital asset to allow for the withdrawal. If you decide to sell Bitcoin, you’ll be given the choice to add a bank account, credit card, or debit card for the sale total to be deposited:
