The current event consists of two competitions: $100,000 USDC Spot Trading Leaderboard and $50,000 USDC Referral Leaderboard
To join the Spot Trading Leaderboard, participants need to opt in (click "Join" ) on this page and enter their nickname.
Participants will be ranked on a public Leaderboard accessible on this page, updated regularly to reflect current standings.
The Participants’ total trading volume will only be counted for trading positions opened by eligible participants within the competition period.
The prize pool depends on the cumulative trading volume achieved by all registered participants during the competition period. The minimal total prize pool is 10,000 USDC, and it can grow to 100,000 USDC. The current trading volume level and prize pool are displayed on this page. To unlock the minimum prize pool of 10,000 USDT, participants’ total cumulative trading volume must reach at least 10,000,000 USD.
Only trading volume generated from CEX.IO Spot Trading (through web platform or CEX.IO App) will be counted towards the competition score.
Only the top 10 traders on the final Leaderboard, based on their trading volume, will be eligible to share the prize pool.
In addition to the Leaderboard prizes, 10 random participants who have completed at least one (1) spot trade during the competition period will also receive prizes. The value of these random prizes will also scale up based on the collective total trading volume achieved by all participants.
This offer is available in all countries where CEX.IO Spot Trading operates, excluding EU countries and UK. Check the list of unsupported countries here.
Only verified CEX.IO users will be eligible to receive rewards in this competition. If you don’t have an account or your account is still not verified, you can create one and/or pass verification to be eligible to enter the promo.
This Competition runs from November 10, 2025, through November 30, 2025.
CEX.IO users can also participate in the Referral Competition with a prize pool of $50,000 USDC. By participating in both events, participants can maximize their potential total prizes, reaching up to $150,000 USDC. To join the Referral Competition, participants need to opt in to the event on a separate dedicated page.
CEX.IO may disqualify participants who are deemed to be illegally bulk registered and/or verified, or those engaging in any form of market manipulation. CEX.IO reserves the right to disqualify any participant at its sole and absolute discretion.
Besides Trading Competition rewards, new CEX.IO users can earn bonuses to their Spot Trading Fee Balance — a separate USDC balance used only to cover trading fees (not withdrawable). To qualify, log in or sign up, click “Enter Competition,” set your nickname, and make a crypto purchase or deposit of at least $100. You’ll then receive an in-app notification about your bonus. Tap “Claim” to activate it. The bonus is valid for 30 days and will be removed if unused. Terms and conditions apply.

What is the Spot Trading Competition?
The CEX.IO Spot Trading Competition is an event running from November 10 through November 30 where traders compete based on their total trading volume. The more you trade, the higher your rank on the leaderboard — and the bigger your rewards. The total prize pool starts at 10,000 USDC and can grow to 100,000 USDC depending on the overall trading activity of participants.
What is the Referrals Competition?
The Referrals Competition runs alongside the Spot Trading Competition and rewards users for inviting new traders to CEX.IO. The more friends who trade during the event you bring, the higher your chances to win a share of up to 50,000 USDC in referral prizes. Both you and your referrals can earn can participate in BOTH competitions simultaneously and win prizes in both leaderboards:
- If you trade solo AND bring referrals who trade, you can win prizes on both the Spot Leaderboard (as a trader) and the Referral Leaderboard (as a team captain). In this case, you can compete for a $150,000 USDC prize pool from both leaderboards.
- If your referral also trades AND invites their own team of traders, they can win prizes on both leaderboards too – earning rewards both as an individual trader and as a team captain.
How to join the Spot Trading Competition?
Simply click “Enter Competition/Join Spot Leaderboard” on this page, choose your nickname, and start trading on CEX.IO Spot markets. Only trades made after you’ve opted in and after the event begins will count toward your volume and leaderboard position.
How to join the Referral Competition?
To join the Referral Competition, opt in on the dedicated referral page by clicking “Enter Competition.” Once you’ve joined, share your unique referral link with friends and encourage them to start trading. Each qualifying referral boosts your ranking and potential rewards.
Can I participate in both competitions at the same time?
Yes! You can compete in both the Spot Trading and Referral competitions simultaneously. Just remember to opt in for both competitions. Your trading volume will count toward the Spot leaderboard, while the trading volume of your referrals will advance your ranking in the Referral competition.
