Top traders by margin trading volume, and random participants who made at least one qualified trade, will divide the prize pool.

Participants must register for the competition by clicking Join/Enter Competition on this page and creating a display nickname.
All participants appear on a publicly visible Leaderboard on this page, with regular updates showing current standings.
Only margin trading volume from positions opened by registered participants during the official competition dates will count toward rankings.
The total prize pool scales based on aggregate trading volume from all registered participants during the event. The base prize pool starts at 10,000 USDT and can reach 250,000 USDT. Current volume levels and prize pool amounts are shown on this page. Unlocking the minimum 10,000 USDT prize requires participants to collectively achieve at least 10,000,000 USD in trading volume.
The top 10 positions on the final Leaderboard, ranked by margin trading volume, will divide the prize pool.
Beyond Leaderboard prizes, 10 randomly selected participants who execute at least one (1) margin trade during the competition window will receive additional rewards. These random prize values also scale with the total collective trading volume.
This competition is accessible in all jurisdictions where CEX.IO Margin Trading is operational. View the list of excluded regions here.
Only users with verified CEX.IO accounts qualify for competition rewards. Users without accounts or pending verification can register and complete the verification process to become eligible.
Competition period: January 5, 2026, through January 25, 2026.
CEX.IO reserves the right to disqualify participants suspected of fraudulent bulk registration/verification or market manipulation activities. Disqualification decisions are made at CEX.IO's complete discretion.
CEX.IO team members cannot participate in this Trading Competition.
New CEX.IO users may also qualify for bonuses added to their Margin Trading Fee Balance — a dedicated account used exclusively for fee coverage (non-withdrawable). To be eligible, log in or register, click "Join/Enter Competition," choose your nickname, and complete a cryptocurrency purchase or deposit of minimum $100. An in-app notification will confirm your bonus. Select "Claim" to apply it. Bonuses remain active for 30 days and expire if not utilized. Terms and conditions apply.
Competition dates, terms, and conditions are subject to modification by CEX.IO at any time without advance notice.
Trading pairs with permanent or temporary fee reductions (or other variations from standard fee schedules) are ineligible for the competition. Pairs involved in concurrent promotions may also be excluded. CEX.IO may disallow and remove trading volume from such pairs within the competition framework.
For competition purposes, automatic Trading Fee Balance usage for fee coverage is capped at $100. Should a participant's cumulative fees automatically covered by the Trading Fee Balance surpass $100, CEX.IO may disallow subsequent trading volume corresponding to fees covered beyond this threshold from counting toward official competition metrics (including total volume and ranking position).
